Blue Hut Technology is run by husband and wife team, Nigel & Helen Fletton.

After 28 years working in the software and telecommunications industry for BT, Nigel brings his extensive experience in software development and web application development to provide the technical end of the business.

Nigel is a graduate of the University of Durham, where he earned an MSc in computer science.

Helen has extensive experience liaising with clients across multiple industries. She spent the first 18 years of her career as an engineer working in the water industry designing and constructing water and wastewater treatment works. This established her reputation for thoroughness and attention to detail.

In a significant career move, she switched from engineering to the IT industry and worked for a web design company as an account manager - liaising with clients on the construction of their websites.

Helen also builds and runs a number of her own niche websites that provide free content to consumers and earn revenue from advertising. These websites are used as foundation plates for trialling the latest software and internet technologies so that when we recommend something to our clients they know that it has been proven first.
